What I Like Most About Being a Catalena Cowgirl

I love being around all the girls and the horses, we are like a huge family; the cowgirls are the adults and the horses are our children. We all get along with each other very well, and it takes all of us together to put on these one of a  kind  performances.  The rodeos are a great experience, in each town I meet the fans and enjoy swapping riding stories!  Most of all I love seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces in the audience during the performances.

At every rodeo performance there is a pause for the national anthem. During that pause all the horses are stopped, everyone is standing in the audience, hats and hands on their hearts and the people are smiling.  The horses know when the song ends and exactly when it's time to move.  It's the greatest feeling, it's a true sense of national pride.
