My favorite
part of being a Catalena Cowgirl is the impact we have on
the crowd whether it be the children that light up when they
see the drill or the veterans in the crowd who are truly
touched by our patriotic routine and music. It is heartwarming
and worthwhile when we are approached after a performance
and someone tells us how we have just touched their lives.

Favorite Performance as a Catalena Cowgirl
My favorite
performance as a Catalena Cowgirl was the Bryan Rodeo a few
years back. It was the summer after the September 11th
attacks and it gave me goose bumps to be able to shoot off
the pyro from the American Flag at the end of the National
Anthem. When you can tell that the crowd is proud to
be American and feel the emotion, you know you have done a
good job!
