| What
I Like Most About Being a Catalena Cowgirl |
| The friendships
and the pure adrenaline rush I get as we ride out into the
arena for each performance. And knowing that we bring a smile
to people’s faces, especially children, and give them
a sense of patriotism and chills down their backs during our
salute to the American Flag is an indescribable feeling. |

My
Favorite Performance as a Catalena Cowgirl
|
| My favorite
performance was the first night I rode in the main routine
during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in 1997. That was
when it was back in the dome and I remember being so nervous
I thought I was going to be sick, until I rode into the arena,
then it was a pure rush. It was such a sense of accomplishment
and pride that I was finally, truly a part of something so
very special! It is a feeling I will never forget. |

| My
Personal Motto / Philosophy |
Sometimes it’s not about what God has given you or circumstance,
it’s about what you make out of life and its circumstances.
“Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable
and receives the impossible” – Corrie Ten Boom |
