The Catalena Cowgirls were excited to kick off their 9th consecutive season opening the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. For those that haven't been there in person, this is the richest regular season rodeo in the United States. The Cowgirls opened the show each night. As part of their performance, the national anthem was sung live each night by a member of the Houston Police Department. The Cowgirls gave a salute to our country that made you proud to be an American.
